Our New England Orchard

Hyland Orchard has been owned and operated by the Damon family for three generations. We are nestled in the quaint village of Fiskdale, located in historic Sturbridge, Massachusetts.

Hyland Orchard was founded in 1945 by F. James Hyland. In 1996, his grandson (Christopher Damon) took the reins and continues to run the farm and grounds today.

Spring through Fall, we host private events, offering the rare opportunity to privately celebrate on the sprawling 150-acre farm. Hyland is proud to contribute to several charitable organizations, lending the Pavilion for several fundraisers each year. The Pavilion boasts custom sliding walls, allowing for events on rainy Spring days to chilly October nights. The large Pavilion boasts custom beam work and retractable barn walls. The Pavilion has accent lighting, 30-foot long custom live-edge bar and the sprawling lawn features a fire pit and barnyard.

Starting the third Saturday in September, the Orchard opens up for Fall fun. We offer Pick-Your-Own apples, tractor rides, barnyard, all culminating in the quintessential New England experience. Thousands of visitors flock here to enjoy apple picking, hayrides and live music in the Fall.
