Hope to see you September 24 for the start of our Fall 2017 Apple Picking Season!
More than 2,400 apple trees blossom every spring at Hyland Orchard, planting the seed for a big fall harvest starting Sept. 24 from 12-6 p.m. and running every weekend on both Saturday and Sunday until the last Sunday in October. Come fall, the farm transforms into an apple Mecca. The farm offers a wide selection of apple varieties, including but not limited to Mac, Macoun, Cortland, Mutsu, Gala, Granny Smith, Empire, Fuji, and Braeburn, among others.
Once the fruit becomes ripe, the outdoor Pavilion area ramps up its weekend public festivals with pick-your-own apples and stand sales, live bands, wagon rides, animal petting, brewery and farm tours, pumpkins of all size and food vendors.
Rates are subject to change. Last fall, we charged $15 for 1 bag or $25 for a half bushel of apples. Assorted-sized pumpkins cost $4, $8 and $10.
Please be sure to buy your bag (at the Pavilion) in order to board the hayride into the Orchard.
